The major search engines offer various types of advertising for web sites. Whenever you search the Internet you are shown a number of web sites, some of these web sites will be paying for advertising space. If you happen to find that one of these offers what you are looking for and subsequently go to that site then the search engine charges the advertiser and pays the publisher. We in this case are the publisher. What we do is to take the money we earn and donate it to charity.
We have also linked up with Amazon.com, now when you buy anything at Amazon via our site, Amazon will give us a commission. So now you can buy all those things you wanted and not feel guilty because you are donating to charity. eBay also give us a commission on stuff you bid on or buy. Isn't this great?
The success of the site depends on passing on the word of what we are trying to do. An incredible example of this follows and is worked out with everybody who uses the site just getting 5 friends to use it.
The mathematics works like this...

Now if each of these people raises only 1 cent through searches a week, that means together we can raise over $19,500 every week.
According to the latest statistics this number of users is only 0.2% of people using the internet.
Just for fun, I extended this down another 3 levels and the weekly income at 1c per person a week came out at just under $2,500,000. Although that would mean 1 in every 4 people on the internet using Search4Aid.
In order to maintain the integrity of this site, you are requested not to click on search results unless you have a genuine reason for doing so. The money raised by this site ultimately comes from advertisers pockets, they have a right to expect that people going to their sites from a paid for advert are doing so because they are genuinly interested. Provided you use this site exactly the same way you would use any other search site then everyone should benefit. The advertisers receive quality visitors, Google retains its integrity in its adverts and most importantly the charities benefit.
